Our Mission

For over 18 years, our practice has been dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a setting that feels calm, comfortable, and welcoming. We believe in a conservative, patient-first approach—focusing on what is truly best for your long-term health. Our commitment is to deliver high-quality treatment while creating a positive experience built on trust, compassion, and excellence. At our office, dentistry is more than treatment—it’s about people, relationships, and helping every patient feel cared for and at ease.

WHO WE ARE

The Family Dental Center, LLC carries on the legacy of compassionate, high-quality dental care established 18 years ago by Dr. Lai Man Chan and supported by his wife, Dr. To-Nhi Tran, as Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Chan was known for his conservative, caring approach, and his dedication to the Fall Creek community left a lasting impact on our patients and team.

Though we miss Dr. Chan dearly, we honor his memory by continuing his mission of providing gentle, personalized dental care. Under our new name, The Family Dental Center, LLC, we remain committed to the same values he embodied while embracing exciting changes and innovations to serve you even better.

Thank you for trusting us with your oral health. It is truly a privilege to care for such wonderful people, and we know Dr. Chan would be proud of the continued commitment to his legacy.

Dental Hygiene Visit

Keeping your teeth and gums healthy is our top priority. We offer different types of hygiene visits to meet your needs:

  • Routine Cleaning & Exam – Remove plaque and tartar, check for cavities and gum disease, and get personalized oral hygiene tips.

  • Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapy - Non-surgical periodontal therapy is a gentle, effective treatment designed to manage gum disease and protect your oral health without surgery. During this procedure, our licensed and trained dental hygienist carefully removes plaque and tartar from above and below the gumline, helping to reduce inflammation and prevent further damage to your gums and bone.

This therapy may include scaling and root planing, thorough cleaning of the tooth roots, and personalized oral hygiene guidance to maintain long-term gum health. Non-surgical periodontal therapy is a key step in controlling gum disease, improving the health of your gums, and preserving your natural teeth.

  • Periodontal Maintenance – Your cleaning following Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapy that is for patients with gum disease to control inflammation and maintain healthy gums.

  • Children’s Hygiene Visits – Gentle cleanings, fluoride treatments, and guidance for lifelong oral health habits.

Our goal is to keep your oral cavity healthy and your smile bright, and confident at every visit.
